Most small-business networks were never designed. They accreted: a router
from the broadband provider, a switch from Amazon when the ports ran out, a
Wi-Fi extender behind the printer, and nobody quite sure which cable does
what. It works, mostly, until the day it matters, and then nobody knows where
to start.
What we do
- Network design and build — switching, routing,
segmentation, and Wi-Fi that reaches where you actually work.
- Site-to-site VPNs — premises connected to each
other, to partners, and to the people working away from them.
- Servers and cloud — on the premises, in the
cloud, or honestly assessed as to which, and why.
- Documentation, always — every build is handed
over with as-built documentation a stranger could work from. If we fell
under a bus, your next engineer would thank us.
The same standard applies to high-performance home networks and smart-system
integration, where a property needs it.
Where we work
This is the physical side of 1NM: cabinets, cables and buildings.
We are based in Warwickshire and work on site across the county and the West
Midlands, including Coventry and Birmingham. Further afield is a conversation,
not a refusal.
How it starts
A call, then a visit. We look at what you actually have, tell you plainly
where it stands, and leave you a one-page account of what we found and what we
would do about it, in priority order. That costs nothing. The work that
follows is quoted as a fixed price in writing before it starts, and hardware
is always at cost, stated separately, with no markup hiding in the boxes.
